Tibetan People Embrace World Reading Day
A reading activity themed "Embracing World Reading Day and Popularizing Reading among Tibetan Farmers" was held on April 23, 2012.
The activity was mainly organized by the Library of Tibet Autonomous Region and was held in Gyari Village of Konggar County.
Fifteen farmers and fifteen pupils participated in the recital contest with both Chinese and Tibetan language. The Library of Tibet Autonomous Region also donated books and Audio-visual materials which worth more than 60, 000 RMB to Gyari Village .
Reading makes people more wisdom and know their hitstory, culture deeply.
With exceptional passion and outstanding leadership, Mrs. Catherine has dedicated herself to Tibet inbound tourism and China tour for 15 years. As one of the handful females who see great potential of Chinese inbound tourism, Catherine has made great contribution to promoting Tibet tourism and enhancing the employment of Tibetans and prosperity of local Tibetan community.
Over the years, she travelled overseas with Tibet Tourism Bureau many times to promote Tibet tourism. Currently, Catherine works as the marketing director of Tibet Vista, an opinion leader behind the whole team of Tibet Vista.
