Recommended Tour to Tibet in May
The May Day Holiday marks the beginning of Tibet’s peak tourism season. To enrich the three-day holiday for tourists to Tibet, local travel agencies have launched in-depth tours apart from the classic routs.
Itinerary one:
Lhasa- Klu gling(an overnight stay)- Bayi town(an overnight stay)-Lhasa(back home)
Highlight: The first night accommodation will be arranged in Lulang Forest Sea, Nyingchi Prefecture in Tibet, where tourists can view the snow mountains, stroll in the forest sea and experience the pastoral life.
Classic itinerary:
Lhasa- Bayi town(an overnight stay)-sightseeing in Bayi town (an overnight stay)-Lhasa(back home)
According to manager of a local travel agency, this itinerary will involve many popular spots in Nyingchi. The biggest difference lies in accommodation.
In the classic route, tourists stay two nights in BaYi Town; but in the new itinerary, tourists will not stay in Ba Yi Town, but in family hotel in Klu gling for one night.
