The famous Jokhang temple is a center of pilgrims and tourists in Lhasa. So tourists can see various scenes in front of Jokhang Temple from early morning to evening. When you make a Lhasa tour, do get up early and go to experience the life at Jokhang square in a day.

In early morning, there are already some pilgrims do pilgrimage when it is still dark.

On the dark Jokhang Square, there are only lights and flame in the stove of burning offerings before dawn.

Tibetan pilgrims do ritual works carefully and devoutly in front of Jokhang before dawn.
