Leisure Holiday in Lhasa
Leisure Holiday in Lhasa
Most citizens in Lhasa choose to enjoy the three-day holiday of Tomb Sweeping Day, or Qingming in surrounding areas with their families.
Citizens could be seen in parks, amusement parks and zoos in the urban areas or the field or home inns in the suburban areas of Lhasa, the regional capital city of Tibet.

Though the Peach Blossom Festival in southeast Tibet's Nyingchi prefecture is in full swing, many citizens are not willing to go and enjoy the flowers. "As the holiday is relatively short, if we go there, we would be tired of the tight timing. As a result, we prefer to have a leisure holiday in surrounding areas," said Dawa, a resident in Lhasa.
Compared to long-distance travel, the outing in suburbs allows people to enjoy the holiday in a comfortable and pleasant way.
