Tibetan slack tourist season in winter
As we all know, lots of people have attracted by Tibet travel for its beautiful scenery and unique culture. Actually speaking, the tourism development has peak season and slack season.
Southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region promoted winter tourism in Wuhan capital of central Hubei Province, reported a Wuhan local newspaper on Sep 13.
Favorable policies were offered according to Tibet’s tourism department: hotels rates, scenic spots admissions are the lowest of the year, and there will be no time limitation for sightseeing.
In Lokha Prefecture, preferential discounts as low as 50% will cover spots commissions, hotel rates, and transportation fees.
Tibet's slack tourist season starts from the beginning of November and ends in April, during which Tibet sees fewer tourists compared with its high tourist season.
