Inland eye experts gave free surgery for Tibetans
Tibet Autonomous Region is an important part of China. People who have Tibet travel can understand the attention that Chinese government has payed on it.
From time to time inland medical teams will launch medical programs such as the eyesight-recovery program for rural Tibetans in the cooperation with local hospitals in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region
Eye experts from an inland hospital gave free surgery for 49 Tibetans with cataract in Lhoka Prefecture, southwest China's Tibet Autonomus Region on Aug. 11, 2012.
A total of more than 500,000 yuan (78,650 U.S. dollars) had been raised for the medical aid program by the Hongshan District Committee of the Political and Consultative Conference in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province.
It's the third time that Wuhan Eyegood Ophthalmic Hospital offers free cataract surgery in Tibet with nearly one hundred Tibetans cured of the eye disease.
