Tibet-themed exhibition in Germany gains favorable response

People want to have Tibet travel always keep an eye on the news of Tibet. The "Beauty of Tibet" painting exhibition inaugurated in Berlin, capital of Germany on Wednesday has received favorable responses from local celebrities, visitors and overseas Chinese.

Kani Alavi, president of the East Side Gallery, said the paintings of different styles displayed at the exhibition brought him a completely new idea of Chinese painting art and a basic understanding of China's Tibet.

He said, "I’m impressed by the exhibition and astonished at the Chinese painting art. The perfect combination of traditional and modern Chinese painting arts inspires me a lot. "

"It is a pity that such exhibition is rare in my country, so I hope China can organize more of the kind in the future and create opportunities for European and Chinese artists to communicate face to face," Kani Alavi added.

Liu Zhenya, a Chinese American artist who is specialized in Chinese painting, ceramic arts and carving, came all the way from America to attend the exhibition. As he has planned, he is going to hold an individual exhibition this week in Germany.

"Today I came in the hope of exchanging experience with more Chinese artists. The exhibition is a successful example of how to help Chinese artists to communicate with foreign artists so as to improve their artistic attainments," said Liu.
