Located in the southwest Tibet, Shigatse lies the Yarlung Zangbo River and its main tributaries Nianchu River confluence.It is called "the land of manor" in Tibetan, developed with fine agriculture.
Each year the Buddhist Festival Exhibition in Tashilhunpo monastery, Dance Festival, Shalu 's Ximuqin Wave Festival and the Tibetan opera performances all with its unique style are world-renowned. Shigatse is famous for its ancient culture, magnificent temple, excellent geographical location and has become the most attractive tourist destinations in Tibet.
The sufficient sunshine and rainfall since July this year has been a positive condition for the growing of plants in Shigatse.
With exceptional passion and outstanding leadership, Mrs. Catherine has dedicated herself to Tibet inbound tourism and China tour for 15 years. As one of the handful females who see great potential of Chinese inbound tourism, Catherine has made great contribution to promoting Tibet tourism and enhancing the employment of Tibetans and prosperity of local Tibetan community.
Over the years, she travelled overseas with Tibet Tourism Bureau many times to promote Tibet tourism. Currently, Catherine works as the marketing director of Tibet Vista, an opinion leader behind the whole team of Tibet Vista.
