The Kumbum Monastery
Over 900,000 million yuan(145 US dollars) has been recently invested in renovating the Kumbum Monastery in Qinghai Province, Xinhua reported.
The investment will help present the unique charm of the Kumbum Monastery, one of the holy lands of the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism.
The two-year project will involve the construction of the gate and integrative landscape corridor as well as the improvement of the service facilities.
A total of 434,000 million yuan has been put into various projects this year, including the tourist service center, commercial strip, sightseeing vehicles, Hehuang cultural stone forest, starred hotel, ecological garden, and Tibetan culture center.
With exceptional passion and outstanding leadership, Mrs. Catherine has dedicated herself to Tibet inbound tourism and China tour for 15 years. As one of the handful females who see great potential of Chinese inbound tourism, Catherine has made great contribution to promoting Tibet tourism and enhancing the employment of Tibetans and prosperity of local Tibetan community.
Over the years, she travelled overseas with Tibet Tourism Bureau many times to promote Tibet tourism. Currently, Catherine works as the marketing director of Tibet Vista, an opinion leader behind the whole team of Tibet Vista.
