For a long time, Shigatse prefectural administration office based on the large areas of the tourism and cultural, promote the development of regional tourism and cultural undertakings. Currently, the Shigatse region has Gyantse, Shigatse two national historical and cultural city, three 4A grade scenic spot, two 3A level scenic spot, a place representative Festival - Mount Everest Cultural Tourism Festival, Jiang Zi Dama festival. This year, the region's new "2355" tourist routes, through giving marketing campaign incentives and other measures for the development of on charter flights, train to Shigatse travel agents to further increase its efforts to support the development of tourism industry. Shigatse tourism department said they would take this promotion as an opportunity, in accordance with the "characteristics, high-end, boutique" development principles, continue to deepen regional tourism brand image and expand the tourism awareness of Shigatse, take efforts to promote tourism development to achieve a new breakthroughs.
It is reported that the meeting invited 15 domestic tourism large-scale backbone of hundred travel agencies enterprises, 15 central-level media and provincial news media. Ngari Tourism Bureau, Tibet Shigatse China International Travel Service also promote tourism resources and tourism product at the meet.
With exceptional passion and outstanding leadership, Mrs. Catherine has dedicated herself to Tibet inbound tourism and China tour for 15 years. As one of the handful females who see great potential of Chinese inbound tourism, Catherine has made great contribution to promoting Tibet tourism and enhancing the employment of Tibetans and prosperity of local Tibetan community.
Over the years, she travelled overseas with Tibet Tourism Bureau many times to promote Tibet tourism. Currently, Catherine works as the marketing director of Tibet Vista, an opinion leader behind the whole team of Tibet Vista.
