Lhasa Held Forum of Tibetan Thangka Transmitters
Lhasa held the first forum of the Tibetan Thangka transmitters on June 12, 2012.
Thangka is a Tibetan silk painting withembroidery, usually depicting a Buddhist deity, scene, or mandala of some sort.Masters of Thangka and guests attend it .The one who go to Tibet always like take one as souvenir.
Masters of Thangka from across Tibet gathered at the first forum of Tibetan Thangka transmitters in Lhasa on Tuesday, to exchange experiences and thoughts on the development of the intangible cultural heritage.
With exceptional passion and outstanding leadership, Mrs. Catherine has dedicated herself to Tibet inbound tourism and China tour for 15 years. As one of the handful females who see great potential of Chinese inbound tourism, Catherine has made great contribution to promoting Tibet tourism and enhancing the employment of Tibetans and prosperity of local Tibetan community.
Over the years, she travelled overseas with Tibet Tourism Bureau many times to promote Tibet tourism. Currently, Catherine works as the marketing director of Tibet Vista, an opinion leader behind the whole team of Tibet Vista.
