2011 Tibetan Thangka Art Exhibition is held in Lhasa
The 2011 Tibetan Thangka Art Exhibition held in Lhasa. The exhibition started on October 14 at the Tibet Museum and will last for 5 days. The exhibition displays 263 pieces of Thangka works. 118 painters in total attend the exhibition with their works including hand-painted, barbola, embroider, woodcarving and even jade-carving Thangka works. Some painters also bring murals to feast people's eyes.
The Thangka Art Exhibition is a platform of artworks competition and cultural exchange among the Tibetan painters, and inheritage and protection of thangka art.

With exceptional passion and outstanding leadership, Mrs. Catherine has dedicated herself to Tibet inbound tourism and China tour for 15 years. As one of the handful females who see great potential of Chinese inbound tourism, Catherine has made great contribution to promoting Tibet tourism and enhancing the employment of Tibetans and prosperity of local Tibetan community.
Over the years, she travelled overseas with Tibet Tourism Bureau many times to promote Tibet tourism. Currently, Catherine works as the marketing director of Tibet Vista, an opinion leader behind the whole team of Tibet Vista.
