Lhasa is celebrating the grand Shoton Festival 2011
Lhasa people are enjoying the grand Shoton Festival 2011 now. Shoton Festival 2011 is one of the most important events held in Lhasa, capital of Tibet Autonomous Region. Lhasa spares no effort in promoting and organizing a truly memorable festival. From August 29 to September 4, Lhasa celebrates the Shoton Festival 2011 with a series of "happy Lhasa, colorful Shoton" themed activities, including flower show, beer festival, Tibetan opera performance, etc.
To ensure a safe and clear environment, two main arenas of Shoton Festival events, Dzongyab Lukhang Park and Norbu Lingka have strengthened their internal management, increased the number of the cleaning staff, and extended their working hours.
With exceptional passion and outstanding leadership, Mrs. Catherine has dedicated herself to Tibet inbound tourism and China tour for 15 years. As one of the handful females who see great potential of Chinese inbound tourism, Catherine has made great contribution to promoting Tibet tourism and enhancing the employment of Tibetans and prosperity of local Tibetan community.
Over the years, she travelled overseas with Tibet Tourism Bureau many times to promote Tibet tourism. Currently, Catherine works as the marketing director of Tibet Vista, an opinion leader behind the whole team of Tibet Vista.
