Lhasa-Gonggar Airport Highway is Completed
The first highway in Tibet, Lhasa-Gonggar Airport Highway has been completed in July, 2011 and will be put in use very soon.
After its operation, it only takes half an hour from the urban district of Lhasa to the Gonggar Airport. This great project, the senior road in Tibet, was started in April 28, 2009. This highway starts from the railway station of Lhasa. Many Tibetan elements are embodied into the scenery design along the Lhasa-Gonggar Airport Highway. Tourists fly to Lhasa or out of Lhasa will get more time to have fun.
With exceptional passion and outstanding leadership, Mrs. Catherine has dedicated herself to Tibet inbound tourism and China tour for 15 years. As one of the handful females who see great potential of Chinese inbound tourism, Catherine has made great contribution to promoting Tibet tourism and enhancing the employment of Tibetans and prosperity of local Tibetan community.
Over the years, she travelled overseas with Tibet Tourism Bureau many times to promote Tibet tourism. Currently, Catherine works as the marketing director of Tibet Vista, an opinion leader behind the whole team of Tibet Vista.
