Post Office at Everest Base Camp

The Office of China Post at Everest Base Camp set up in 2008 is the highest post office in the world, with an elevation of 5,300 meters above sea level. Though it is very simple, it has helped many visitors share their happiness at the top of the world with their family members and friends by posting card. But the service is not available in winter and early spring due to the harsh climate and few visitors. It is only available from the end of April to August. The opening time is from 10:00am to 18:00pm. when you do a tour to Everest Base Camp, do not forget to post a card here to your friends and marked your foot at the highest places in the world.
