Various art performances will be staged in Tibet to enrich the local Tibetans’ cultural life during the three major festivals this year.
Over 90 performances will be put on by professional art troupes during the New Year’s Day, Chinese Lunar New Year as well as Losar, the Tibetan New Year.
Fourteen performances will be shown in Lhasa from January 4 to 10 and 15 performances will be staged in Medog and other remote counties in Nyingchi Prefecture in mid January.
