Lhokha–To Tap Into The Tubo Dynasty

In the long course of history, Lhokha was acknoledged as “the cradle of Tibetan culture” for a number of “First Places” it had won: the 1st dynasty of Tibetan history–the Tubo Dynasty; the 1st king of Tibet Nyatri Tsenpo; the 1st palace Yongbu Lakang;the 1st Buddhist chapel Trundruk Monastery; the 1st farmland Suodang; the 1st sutra Bangongqyaga; the 1st Tibetan drama Bagabu……Loads of beautiful stories and legends echoed and resounded in our ears. We passed through Lang County and followed 306 provincial road to get to Gyaca County in Lhokha. From there, we started our tour of finding the source of Tibetan culture along the East Tibet Loop Route.
