Photo shows that a craftsman is making a golden ware in his workshop in Shigatse Prefecture, in late February, a few days before Losar, the traditional Tibetan New Year, which falls on March 2 this year. The metal wares are in great demand on the market for local residents as the Losar is just around the corner. As a main daily necessity, the technique of Tibetan metal ware making has been inscribed into the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
