Tibet Entry Permit
News: according to the information in 2015, Tibet would be closed for the International toursits from Tibetan New Year to the end of March. Tibet local travel agencies can not apply the Tibet Entry Permit of their customers during the period.
In 2016, there is a good news: Tibet Entry Permit application will not be affected by 2016 Tibetan New Year (Feb.9, 2016). Tibet Travel Agency can apply for Tibet Entry Permit till Feb.20. That is to say, the International tourists can come to Tibet and experience Tibetan New Year this year.
About Tibet Entry Permit (or Tibet Travel Permit), it is must-hold document when you are boarding a train or a plane. All international visitors would better entrust one of Tibet local travel agency to apply for it at least 15 days before the trip departure.
