Namseling Manor–The Oldest Aristocratic Manor

Namseling Manor

The aristocratic manors in Tibet were extremely luxurious and prosperous. Should they still exist, they would be national treasures with historic values, like the castles by the Seine River in France, or the Pushkin Manor and the Tolstoy Manor in Russia. The 1950s till witnessed thousands of aristocratic manors in Tibet, but unfortunately, with the time passing by, most of them have quickly disappeared in the historical dusts. Namseling Manor, however, still stands there longly for 700 years, looking at Samye Monastery in distance. This manor thus becomes the oldest one in Tibet.
