Huge Funds Put into Improving Facilities, Service of Kumbum Monastery

Over 900,000 million RMB has been recently invested in renovating the Kumbum Monastery in Qinghai Province.
The investment will help present the unique charm of the Kumbum Monastery, one of the holy lands of the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism.
The two-year project will involve the construction of the gate and integrative landscape corridor as well as the improvement of the service facilities.
A total of 434,000 million RMB has been put into various projects this year, including the tourist service center, commercial strip, sightseeing vehicles, Hehuang cultural stone forest, starred hotel, ecological garden, and Tibetan culture center.
