Located in Ngari Prefecture of Tibet, Burang County situates in the valley of Mt. Namuabi and Mt. Nemonanyi–the “Peacock Mount Rive”, with an altitude of 4,755 metres.
The county is surrounded by holy lakes and mountains, absorbing thousands of Buddhist believers from around the world. Going on a pilgrimage is a main part of the life of Burang people, who regard the Mt.Kailash as an august father and Lake Manasarovar as a kind mother.
