Book Donation Ceremony Held in Lhasa

 

A ceremony in which ancient religious books are donated to monasteries was held in Lhasa on Friday.
According to the regional publishing association, 300 boxes of 1,500 Tibetan ancient books were donated to 300 monasteries in the region.
“For the sake of building monks’ and nuns’ knowledge, we’re working to expand the libraries in the monasteries and nunneries,” said Wangdu Tsering, president of the publishing association.
