Black-Necked Cranes Flocking Back to Tibet

 

Each winter, batches of black-necked cranes migrate to the middle and southern part of Tibet as their habitats have been effectively improved the locals’ enhanced awareness in improving ecological environment.
The endangered wild birds, which are native to the plateau and listed under key state protection, are favored by Tibetans and therefore called “saint bird of the snow land”.
