The best period for viewing peach blossoms in Nyingchi in 2014 has been released by experts with the Meteorological Administration of Nyingchi.

Based on a comprehensive analysis of climatological data and phonological observation of recent years, the 2014 peach blossom season comes as usual. Kala village, venue of the opening ceremony of 2014 Nyingchi Peach Blossoms Cultural and Tourist Festival, enters the flowering period around Mar 10 and full bloom from March 20 to April 10.

There are natural wild groves of peach growing in Kala Village, where is called the Peach Valley by local people and surrounded by lush mountains.
