Amateur mountaineers who went to Lhasa to attend the 11th Tibet Mountaineering Assembly were trekking in mountainous area of Tibet to adapt to the environment. The Tibetan Mountaineering Assembly, started in the year 2001, is now popular in amateurs and has greatly promoted the sport. This year’s Mountaineering Assembly is also a commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the first ascent of Mount Qomolangma by human being. Mount Kyizi and Mount Kyizi II are located about 90 kilometers away from Lhasa, capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region. Both mountains are ideal for mountaineering beginners as climbing risks are relatively low.
