We saw the Lagarie Palace even before we entered Qusum County.
According to historical records, the square of the palace was paved with white and blue gravels of good quality. The central part formed the pattern of Buddhist swastika, lotus and 8 auspicious symbols. The patterns were quite original and delicate. However, much of its colour has faded away with time and only the pattern of lotus can be discerned now.
“Gandanlatzu” was a 5-storey palace in the beginning, but only 3 storeies are seen today. I followed the stairs and reached a hall in the center of the palace. The interior looks were decrepit, only with blurred frescoes decorating the inside. The swelling touches on the wall could be felt with fingers.
