When shouldering the parachute canopy without backup parachutes once again and standing on top of the mountain, I tried not to think and feel, as if nothing existed except the hiss of the intercom phone resounding in my ears.
“Take off!”
“Go, and run towards the right!”
I followed mu company’s direction. The moment I opened my eyes, I realized I was actually in the sky. I did not feel uncomfortable except a tightening feeling in my heart. People and the scenery on down below were like mosaic, presenting themselves by small squares. Friends down the mountain were shouting, but I could not hear clearly what they were saying and see clearly what they were gesturing.
I flew! I succeeded!
