Sakya is also a remote town with only one famous attraction, Sakya Monastery, but Sakya town is a good choice to stop for one night on the way from Lhasa to Mt. Everest Base Camp or Kathmandu. There are only 2 or 3 hotels for tourists' option, but enough for a few visitors every day. No worry about accommodations in Sakya.
