Sagadawa Festival start Last week

June 13 is also April 15 of Tibetan calendar, which is the Sgadawa Festival in a narrow sense and sees most believers to pay religious homage in Lhasa.

According to religious records, Buddha Shakyamuni was born, got enlightened and passed away all in Tibetan April, which is called Saga month in honor of the divinity of Buddhism. Every Tibetan April, many pilgrims and tourists come to Tibet for the Festival.
