Nomads, great attraction on the way to Namtso

Tibetan Nomads are a mysterious group for some foreigners. You are one of them, but do not have enough time to go to grassland to visit the nomads, then make a tour to the Namtso. The nomads have become a great attraction on the way to Namtso during summer.

Nomad camps are centered on their spider-like brown or black yak-hair tents. These are usually shared by one family, though a smaller subsidiary tent may be used when a son get married and his own family. The interior of a nomad tent holds all the family’s possessions. There will be a stove for cooking and boiling water and also a family altar dedicated to Buddhist deities and various local protectors.
