Family hotel industry in Tibet is mushrooming and gaining popularity in recent year thanks to the region's tourism development and the folk culture elements embodied through the unique architeture.

Trashigang folk village, located in LuLang Town in Nyingchi Prefecture, southeast of China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, is one of the villages which witnesses and benefits from tourism prosperity.

Retaining the traditional ways of living such as farming, yak-raising, and medicinal herbs-digging, villagers also run family hotels for travelers from around the world.
