Ngari Grassland
Ngari prairie lies in the northeast of Ngari prefecture. As the tour bus moves in regions like coqen county, gerze county, gegyzi county and gar county, tourists can see a boundless prairie and the wilderness coexists with glaciers, alpine lakes, and mountainous ranges. At noon, the mirage caused by hot air may emerge on the horizon far away. The miraculous scenery makes it difficult for one to tell where the sky and prairie are.
Ngari prairie is a safe haven for wildlife. Plenty of rare species can be seen on this soil such as wild yak, wild donkey, Himalayan blue sheep, wild bear, lynx, black-necked crane, etc. If tourists visit Ngari prairie in November and December, the migration of Tibetan antelope will be a spectacular sight to see. The variety of Ngarie prairie will certainly not let you down.
The best tourist season to visit Ngari is from June to Sptember, Tourists an see a boundless prairie and the wilderness coexists with glaciers, alpine lakes, and mountainous ranges.
