NOTIFICATION OF LIMITATIONS TO FOLLOW. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS ANDCONDITIONS CAREFULLY.

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you and Tibettravel.Org,

By booking a trip, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions which outline, among other things, our cancellation policy and certain limitations of liability. These Terms and Conditions affect your rights and designate the governing law and forum for the resolution of any and all disputes. 

1. HOW TO SIGN THE TOUR CONTRACT

When you make decision to book tour with Tibettravel.Org, please ask for a formal tour contract from your travel advisor, the contract will include all the agreement made between you and Tibettravel.Org. Please fill in the Travelers list and Health status on first page, sign your name on each page, and leave your contract information on last page. Then please scan or fax or email signed tour contract to our company, and make sure our company receive it. The contract will be effective and valid when the two items are fulfilled: our company received the contract which you have signed and the deposit you have paid. 

2. CANCEL OR CUT OFF THE TRIP

A. Travelers cancel the tour personally before the tour start

You may cancel your tour after it is confirmed with payment; you will be liable to pay cancellation charges. Cancellation charges are as follows: 

B. The Tour has to be cancelled due to political reason.

Cancellation 10 days before departure due to political reason or natural force, No cancellation charge on local tour, but the lost caused by refunding flight tickets and train tickets is on travelers.

C. If Tour has to be cut off by any physical disease or personal reasons when they are in Tibet.
Local Tour Fee: Travelers can get refund of 60% of unused local tour fee, including admission fee of tourist sites, accommodation fee, tour guide fee, private vehicle fee, etc which are included in tour contract.

Airfare: Travelers can get refund of airfare according to the policy of Airline Company.
Train Fare: Travelers can get 60-80% refund of unused train fare according to the policy of train station. 

3. MODIFICATIONS

A. About modification after the trip starts

a) If a change to the confirmed itinerary or service standard is caused by uncontrollable force, such as weather, unforeseen circumstances, political upheavals, etc., neither party shall be held responsible, and any extra cost thus caused shall be covered by the tourist himself.

b) If a change to the confirmed itinerary or service standard is caused by an air or rail Transportation Company, or other factors that are beyond the control of Tour company, we shall not be held responsible for the losses thus caused.

c) If a tourist has to leave his tour group because of accident, injury, or serious illness, a refund of 10% of the unused tour fare shall be made to the tourist. No refund will be made available for a tour member who otherwise quit the tour group on his own account.

d) No refund shall be given for any portions for the tour package unused by the participant of his own accord.

e) For any increase on fuel oil tax

f) Travelers can modify the departure date 1 month before the actual tour start if they need.

All cancellations must be in written form and will only be effective upon receipt by Tibettravel Tour in specified time as per tour.

B. About Modifying the Tour Contract before the trip starts

A free modification is acceptable when the tour contract is signed 30 days before the agreed departure, which could be comprised of the trip dates, service items, itinerary and the number of travelers etc.; 5% of additional service charge based on the agreed total trip cost for modifying the content of the tour contract will be charged if the travelers would like to modify for a second time; the rest can be done in the same manner. We reserve the right to offer a re-quotation every time when the content of the tour contract is altered.

4. GOVERNING LAW/SUBMISSION TO JURISDICTION 

This contract is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.  All disputes related to this contract should be solved via discussion first. If the problem cannot be solved，either party can lodge a complaint to the People's court of Wuhou District in Chengdu. This contract is written in English. 

5. TRAVEL INSURANCE

This charge covers the insurance premium of Personal Travel Accident Insurance, In Chinese旅游意外伤害保险 (The right to interpret is reserved by Ping An Insurance(Group)Company of China,Ltd.) offered by Ping An Insurance(Group)Company of China,Ltd.. When the agreed insurance accident happens according to the insurance contract, Ping An Insurance(Group)Company of China,Ltd. Will compensate for your corresponding loss; but the exact compensation amount and proportion cannot be ascertained before ratification by the according staff of the insurance company. We only take charge of assistance with the insurance company to research, compensate and supervise whether the compensation is properly issued or not, instead of any other responsibility and compensation except those stated in the insurance contract with the insurance company. Any controversy can only resort to the Insurance Law of the People's Republic of China and relevant laws.

The insurance only covers accidents inside China, our company does not provide insurance out of China and does not compensate any accident out of China.

Our company strongly advice travelers to purchase their own insurance as the complement of the tour insurance provided by our company.

The maximum compensation is 250,000RMB based on Personal Travel Accident Insurance, In Chinese旅游意外伤害保险 (The right to interpret is reserved by Ping An Insurance(Group)Company of China,Ltd.) offered by Ping An Insurance(Group)Company of China,Ltd.

For Chinese Citizen, The maximum compensation is 100,000RMB based on Personal Travel Accident Insurance, In Chinese旅游意外伤害保险 (The right to interpret is reserved by Ping An Insurance(Group)Company of China,Ltd.) offered by Ping An Insurance(Group)Company of China,Ltd.
