“I am Garong, a professional tour guide for Tibet Vista. I choose to become a tour guide because I like making new friends and learning new things. Before I worked as a tour guide, there were limited chances for me to understand a different culture due to the language barriers. Then Tibet Vista provided some English training and then I have been able to understand the outside world more. Since then I’ve learned a lot and made many international friends, and showed them my beautiful homeland. Many are like friends to me now even after the journey.”
