If you have Lhasa-Kathmandu tour, you will of course pass Zhangmu, the border of China and Nepal. And you may like to or need to stay one night in Zhangmu to enjoy the mountain view here. Then, do you know the best hotel in Zhangmu?

There are some four hotels in Zhangmu, Zhangmu Gang Gyan Hotel, Caiyuan hotel, Sherpa Hotel and Zhangmu hotel, and among the four hotels, Zhangmu Hotel is the best one. The hotel is built into the mountain side where affords the rooms at the back with beautiful views of the valley and pretty fresh air in the room. Being a three-star hotel, hot water and shower are available here. Breakfast is delicious, mainly Chinese food with some bread. The dinner is also pretty good in the hotel restaurant and lots of different Chinese dishes are served at the table. The room is warm at night and it’s quite clean. The beds are big and comfortable with electric blanket available in the rooms. The hotel staff are friendly and is able to speak simple oral English.

Well, being in the remote border far away from large cities, the three-star hotel here may fail to compare with those in other big cities, but it is the best hotel in Zhangmu and is pretty ok for you to spend one night here.
