Departing from the holy city of Lhasa, you'll journey westward, passing the turquoise Yamdrok Lake, admiring the majestic Karola Glacier up close, and traversing vast barley fields before arriving at Shigatse, a major city in central Tibet.

After one night stay, the ride will continue toward Mount Everest. At the Gawu La Pass, you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the five Himalayan peaks exceeding 8,000 meters.
