From Rongpuk Monastery to Everest Base Camp, the roadside tents set up by local Tibetan provide basic beds for tourists. However, it is not available all the year round. For the bad weather or winter reasons, the camp will be closed. The host will give you some hot water in the morning and in the evening. The inside stove can keep the tent warmer than outdoor. Do not expect clean quilt and room service like you receive in hotels. The tent is just a place to lodge. Besides, a tent is usually shared by more than 10 people.
