Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Shanghai
As you arrive in Shanghai, the megacity and financial hub of China, our local guide will be expecting you at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport. Later, the guide will escort you to your hotel. After you check in, the rest of the day is for you to have a good rest or explore the surroundings yourself.

Day 2: Shanghai Tour: Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, and Oriental Pearl TV Tower, The Bund
Today we are about to visit some of the highlights of highlights of Shanghai Tour. Starting with fascinating Shanghai Museum, the magnificent 4-story building houses an incredible collection of bronzes, sculptures, ceramics, coins, paintings, calligraphy, costumes and other exhibits in different dynasties. It’s the perfect place for fans of Chinese history and art.
Next comes the Yu Garden. Built in the 16th century during the Ming Dynasty, the Yu Garden used to be the private residence of a senior Government administrator in the Ming Dynasty. For passionate photographer, never miss the chance to photograph Old Street of Yu Garden
In the evening, we will visit the most iconic building of Shanghai, i.e. Oriental Pearl TV Tower. You can enjoy the amazing panorama of the skyline of Shanghai at night. And as you stroll along the Bund, you will get amazed at the spectacular Huangpu River and dazzling light from buildings of Pudong.

Day 3: Shanghai Tour: Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, Nanjing Road
In the morning, we are expected to visit picturesque Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, also known as the "Venice of China". It’s about 1 hour drive from downtown Shanghai. The ancient town dates back to Ming Dynasty. It’s highly recommended to enjoy the boat ride from one end of the water way to the other. Ke Zhi Garden and multiple shops and bridges, and street vendors selling handicrafts and goldfish and turtles provide a respite from boisterous metropolitan city.
In the afternoon, we would head to the renowned pedestrian precinct Nanjing Road to take a nice stroll. From small boutiques selling handicrafts and other souvenirs to high-end fashion shops, you can shop to your heart’s content. Meanwhile, you can enjoy the local snacks and a great number of distinctive architecture.

Day 4: Fly from Shanghai to Lhasa
Take the early morning flight from Shanghai to Lhasa via Xi’an. After long hours of flight, you will land in Lhasa Gonggar airport in Shannan prefecture in the afternoon. And the guide will be expecting you at the airport and later you will be greeted and get transferred to hotels in Lhasa. Then, you can have a good rest to acclimatize to the high altitude.

Day 5: Lhasa Tour - Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street
Today's tour will first bring you to the Potala Palace which is the winter palace of the Dalai lama. It was put to use since the 7th Century by the 33rd great king of Tibet. The most valuable collections of Potala Palace are the gilded burial stupas of former Dalai Lamas and meditation Cave of the 33rd great king of Tibet.
Then after lunch, tourists head to Jokhang Temple which was founded by the 33rd great king of Tibet in the 7th century, in order to promote the Buddhist religion. Inside you can see the statue of Buddha Sakyamuni at the age of twelve, perhaps the only most venerated object in Tibetan Buddhism. Around the temple is Barkhor street where you can do kora (a religious circle of a building or mountain) with pilgrims and locals, in the meantime you can buy souvenirs.

Day 6: Lhasa Tour - Drepung and Sera Monastery
In the morning ,you are going to visit Drepung Monastery which is one of the “great three” Gelug monasteries of Tibet, founded in 1416 by Jamyang choge, one of the Tsongkhapa’s main disciples. Ganden palace used to be Dalai lama’s palace in the Drepung before he moved to the Potala palace.
In the Afternoon, Tourists will visit Sera Monastery which is another one of the “great three” Gelug monasteries of Tibet, founded in 1419 by Jamchen Chojey, one of the Tsongkhapa’s main disciples. The hot attraction is the Monks debate at around 3 - 5 in the afternoon.

Day 7: Lhasa to Namtso Lake (250km, 5 hours )
In the morning, drive from Lhasa to Lake Namtso. On the way, you can see Nyenchen Thanglha (snow mountain ranges )and lots of nomads tent with grazing yak and sheep densely-populated around the mountain side. Namtso Lake is the Heavenly lake which is one of the four holy lakes of Tibet and also the highest salt lake. You can do a very relaxing trekking around the lake side and Tashi Island.
To spend a night at lake shore is fantastic to see the stars.

Day 8: Namtso Lake back to Lhasa via Yampachen (230km,5 hours )
Enjoy the clear morning at the lake shore, you can trek along the lake shore to Tashi Dor Island to explore the meditation caves. Drive to Dumxung to have lunch.
In the afternoon, you may enjoy Yangpachen hot spring (Optional) and have both indoor and outdoor swimming pool filled with hot springs water. Finally, head back to Lhasa.

Day 9: Travel from Lhasa to Kathmandu
The guide will transfer you to the Lhasa Gonggar airport and help you board the flight to Kathmandu. As you land in Kathmandu, the guide will be greeting you and escort you to the hotels.
Day 10: Kathmandu City tour: Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, Durbar Square
In these days, you will have a guided tour to the famous cultural and historical sites of Kathmandu. Among them, the UNESCO enlisted world heritage sites are the primary places of visit.
Pashupatinath (sacred Hindu temple), Boudhanath (Buddhist Shrine), Swayambhunath (Monkey temple), Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, Dharahara (Bhimsen Tower), Tundikhel, Dasaratha Stadium etc. You will have dinner in the hotel in the evening. You can experience night life of Kathmandu till 9 o’clock.

Day 11: Drive Kathmandu to Chitwan 4hrs: Manakamana Temple , Muglin Bazaar, Chitwan
After breakfast in Kathmandu, we depart to Chitwan early in the morning. On the way, you enjoy the overwhelming view of rocky hills while travelling along the Trishuli River. We pass through Kurintar (Cable Car station to Manakamana Temple), Muglin Bazaar and reach Narayangadh. We will stay in a luxury hotel after check in there.
After lunch, you will explore Sauraha and the surrounding area of Chitwan and watching Tharu- Cultural Dance in Tharu Village.

Day 12: Chitwan National Park exploration
After Breakfast, you will enjoy elephant Safari adventure to watch rare one horn rhino. You will also explore the jungle to view different wildlife including Yellow striped Tiger, deer, and birds of different spices.
After lunch, you will continue jungle walk to observe diverse flora and fauna. Crocodile in Narayani River and many other attractions are there in Chitwan to explore. In the afternoon, we drive back to Kathmandu and stay overnight at a hotel.

Day 13: Drive to Lumbini and Visit the Temples
On this day, we drive for 4 hours to reach Lumbini Area. There you visit Maya Devi Temple, Ashok Pillar, Shanti Deep (Peace Flame), Lumbini Museum, and many other Temples of Buddha.
Make prayers in the Temples, enjoy observing the architecture of the temples, explore the surrounding of Lumbini village and preserved area.

Day 14: Tilaurakot sightseeing and drive to Pokhara
On this day, we drive to Tilaurakot for sightseeing. It is the homeland of Siddhartha therefore holy place for all the Buddhists. From Tilaurakot we drive to Pokhara through Butwal, Palpa and Syangja. The Siddhartha Highway leads us from Butwal with enjoying scenic beauty of natural landscapes. Travelling above the rivers in a curved way is thrilling experience for most of the passengers.

Day 15: Pokhara City Exploration: Sarangkot Hill, Mahendra Cave Mahadev Cave and Chamere Cave, Gorge of Seti River
On this day, you will go for hiking to Sarangkot Hill. The view of the city from Sarangkot is fantastic! You can experience paragliding there in Sarangkot.
We get back to Pokhara and explore caves- Mahendra Cave, Mahadev Cave and Chamere Cave and Davis falls, Gorge of Seti River and other sites during the day. In the evening, enjoy boating in Begnas Lake.

Day 16: Return Kathmandu: Bazaar, Kathmandu City
On this day, we return back to Kathmandu. We stop in Damauli and explore the bazaar. You will get information with sightseeing of Nepalese language’s renowned Poet and Ramayana’s translator’s birthplace Chudi Ramgha.
In the afternoon, we arrive at Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. Spare time is to visit missed places of Kathmandu city.

Day 17: Departure from Kathmandu
It is the last day of the trip in Nepal for this time. If you have time enough, you can have sightseeing and shopping in the markets. Before 3 hours of scheduled flight, the guide will take you to the airport and get ready for the flight back home.
