Just southwest of Lhasa, only a 3-hour drive away, Yamdrok Lake begins to thaw in March. 3. Due to the cold weather, attractions in remote northwest Tibet still experience harsh winter conditions. Additionally, the road to Namtso Lake may be closed due to heavy snow in March, but we will keep you informed.
