We've arrived in Tibet and We Love Tibet
Traveling to Tibet is the journey of a lifetime. Whether you come for the history, the culture, the numerous Buddhist monasteries, or the amazing view of Mt. Everest, Tibet is a land that has something for everyone. For several years, Tibet Vista has been providing tours to Tibet for their clients from all around the world, and they have had many repeat clients, and recommended clients, thanks to the enjoyment of their previous trips, and the trips of their friends and relatives.
Visitors are encouraged to travel to Tibet
Tibet is a place that many people have heard of, but few have had the chance to visit. Many even think that Tibet is still a closed region, and foreign visitors are not allowed. This myth could not be more false. Regulations on foreign visitors may still be fairly strict, such as not permitting visitors to travel without a guide, and only allowing the Tibet Travel Permit to be obtained by a registered travel agent once an itinerary has been organized, but visitors are more than just allowed, they are encouraged.
Tibet has more potential for tourism than any other place on the planet.
Tibet has become a great place to visit, and has more potential for tourism than any other place on the planet. There are more unexplored areas in Tibet than there are in the Congo, and it is up to us to come and explore them, and take away the word to the world about how amazing the region really is.
The experience of taking the challenge of walking around holy Mt. Kailash is astounding
We loved coming to Tibet, and experienced exploring a new land and culture. It is a trip that changed the way we see Asia, and even changed our lives a little. From the crystal blue waters of lakes around Lhasa, the region’s capital, to taking the challenge of walking around holy Mt. Kailash on a three-day pilgrimage, the experience was astounding.

Tibet is not just a land of snows; it is a land of mystery. Religion in Tibet is mainly Buddhist, and like many people around the world, we knew very little about it. The common belief is that monks and monasteries are sacred. In forbidden places where outsiders are not permitted, strange things happen. However, as we found out, monasteries in Tibet are open, and welcomed us inside, to show us the beauty of Buddhism and all its works.
Our two little clients had a photo with a kind old Tibetan lady
Tibetans are a friendly people too, both because they love to see new visitors, and because it is part of their religion and culture. Tibetan Buddhism teaches kindness to all things, and to treat everyone with dignity and kindness. Tibetan families opened their homes to us, to let us stay the night and experience the real Tibetan culture first-hand.
We’ve made it to the Everest Base Camp
Aside from the people and the religion, Tibet is a very untainted land. The high altitude has prevented development on the Tibetan plateau, and as a result, we saw very little pollution. The region also plays host to many rare and endangered species of plants and animals, although this may not last forever. Which means the ideal time for us to come to Tibet is now.
On the way of driving to Lake Manasarovar
For us, Tibet was the ideal place to get away from it all, and have a much needed break from modern society. Because the Tibetan people are devoutly religious and the environment is so pure, Tibet was the one place where life in the fast lane could not find us. Many people come to Tibet to “find themselves”, and go away with a renewed sense of worth. Spending a little time contemplating the spirituality of life had a way of giving us a new outlook on life itself, and left us feeling renewed and reborn.
Tibet is waiting here for you
Tibet is a place where anyone can visit, without even knowing why they want to visit. We dreamt of traveling to Tibet, but had no idea why. Now we know what we were looking for, even if it took a trip here to find that out. So, if you are still looking for a reason to go to Tibet, then the best course of action is to go there, just as we did, and find the reason when you get there. Just like us, it is waiting there…for you!
