Moments at Mount Kailash: Tibet's Holiest Peak and Its Most Devoted Pilgrims
Mount Kailash, located in western Tibet, is one of the holiest mountains in the world and a sacred destination for pilgrims of multiple religions. Rising to 6,638 meters, its pyramid-shaped peak is revered by Buddhists, Hindus, Jains, and Bonpos. For travelers, trekking around the mountain offers a unique opportunity to experience both natural beauty and the profound sense of peace.
Due to weather conditions, the Mount Kailash Tour closes at the end of November each year as heavy winter snow blocks the roads. It reopens in late April the following year. If you're planning a Mount Kailash tour in 2025, visiting during the Saga Dawa Festival (June 4th to 14th) will offer an unforgettable experience!
Moments During Trekking: Unforgettable Journeys Through Tibet’s Wild Terrain
Trekking in Tibet offers a unique adventure, blending breathtaking landscapes with rich cultural heritage. The three most popular trekking routes are the Gama Valley Trekking, Mount Kailash Trekking, and 10 days Mount Everest Trekking.
