Tibet Travel Reviews and Feedback in July
July is one of the peak travel seasons in Tibet, as Chinese students are on summer break and many domestic travelers flock to Tibet (with average daytime temperatures of around 22°C) to escape the summer heat and explore vibrant Tibetan festivals like the Gyantse horse racing festival and more.
Hotels, flights, and train tickets tend to sell out quickly, and transportation and entrance fees are higher than usual. However, it's well worth your visit because oxygen levels are also at the highest level across Tibet, with comfortable weather. You will meet global travelers and enjoy lush grasslands, sapphire-blue alpine lakes, epic Himalayan views, and diverse outdoor activities. Just be sure to book with us well in advance to secure your spot.
July is also a prime time to hop on the scenic Tibet train to Lhasa. On board, you will see lush, boundless grasslands, blooming wildflowers, and Tibetan yaks grazing under the deep blue sky, with shimmering salt lakes and snow-capped peaks in the distance. Besides, the classic Lhasa to Everest Base Camp tour, the Lhasa to Kathmandu overland tour, and the Lhasa to Mt. Kailash pilgrimage tour remain three of the go-to choices for global travelers in July. Alternatively, you may also explore other Tibet tours or customize one to travel at your own pace and style.
