Visited Tashilhunpo Monastery, Founded by the first Dalai Lama in Shigatse

Hang Prayer Flags on the Mountain Pass

It’s pretty common to see colorful prayer flags fluttering with the strong wind as you pass different mountain passes in Tibet. On the prayer flags, Buddhist Mantra is written. Tibetans believe that when wind blows prayer flags high above the sky, the Buddhist Mantra will be chanted repeatedly. In this way, prayer flags can bring peace, longevity and good fortune to its hangers.
Slowly Descended to Lower Places

Just like prayer flags, Mani Stones (big stones or rocks inscribed with Buddhist Mantra) are also a common form of prayer in Tibetan Buddhism.
Visited Rongbuk Monastery (5154m), World’s highest Monastery

It’s only 8km away from Rongbuk Monastery (5154m) to Everest Base Camp (5200m). The monastery is one of the finest places to take pictures of the sunrise and sunset of Mt. Everest.
