The best time to travel to Everest Base Camp is from April to June and from Sept. to Nov when the visibility is extremely high. Therefore, if you come in summer time, it’s likely that part of the Mt. Everest might be shrouded by dense clouds due to the monsoon. To physically strong guys, you may choose to trek from Rongbuk Monastery to EBC, which is about 8km walk. Spending the night at EBC is a life-time experience and you can stay in the comfortable tents and chat with other international tourists.

Holy Namtso Lake is the second largest saline lake in China (biggest one being the Qinghai Lake). While the other two most famous sacred lakes are Yamdrok Lake (Shannan Prefecture) and Manasarovar Lake ( Ngari Prefecture). The surrealistic lake view against the backdrop of miles of lofty mountain ranges, notably known as Nyenchen Tanglha Range, simply defies human description.
