For mountaineers who are about to climb Mt. Everest, they would normally go to this monastery and get blessings from the monks before they venture into the holy mountain. To many tourists, they would prefer trek from Rongbuk to Everest Base Camp as a challenge for them. Besides, it’s the best place to view Mt. Everest at the mid-distance.

Finally, Make it to Everest Base Camp (5200m)

To many tourists, making it to Everest Base Camp fulfills their dream of a lifetime. You may choose to stay overnight in the tents at the EBC or move back to stay at Rongbuk Monastery. The best time to travel to EBC would be April, May, Sept, Oct and Nov.
