Imposing Ngari beyond Imagination

Located in the west of the Tibet Autonomous Region, Ngari Prefecture is home to dozens of world reknowned lakes and mountains including Mt. Kailash and the Mapam Yumco Holy Lake.

Sitting at an elevation of 4,500 meters above the sea, Nagari,for a long time, remaineds mysterious to the outsiders for a long time because of the high elevation and secluded location.

In recent years, tourists have been able to leave footprints in the once-reclusive place thanks to the quickly developed tourism industry and transportation in Tibet.

In the next few days, a group series of photos taken by Huang Cunyan from Beijing,a female outdoors professional,who has visited this remote places several times, will be shared. You are welcomed to also share yours.
