Tourism Gears Up for May Day Holiday to Tibet
Lhasa, capital city of Tibetan Autonomous Region, embraces people travel to Tibet peak season with the upcoming May Day Holiday from April 29 to May 2, according to Lhasa tourism department.
May marks the beginning of the peak tourism season in Lhasa, but according to tourism department, the Potala Palace has seen already around 1,500 daily visits. More tourists will be expected.
There has been a rapid growth of tourists’ number from April. It is estimated that in April, Tibet will receive over 3 million tourists , up 50% than last year.

With exceptional passion and outstanding leadership, Mrs. Catherine has dedicated herself to Tibet inbound tourism and China tour for 15 years.
