Sichuan Airline launches Hangzhou-Lhasa flight

Recently, Sichuan Airline launches Hangzhou-Lhasa flight, improving the transport links of Tibet with outside world. Both Hangzhou and Lhasa are top tourist destinations in China. With this new air line, travellers can fly to Shanghai from their home country, pay a visit to Hangzhou, a beautiful city famous for West Lake, and then fly from Hangzhou to Lhasa for a spiritural Tibet tour.

The Lhasa-Hangzhou flight operated by Sichuan Airline takes 6 hours to cover the air route between Lhasa and Hangzhou, with a stopover in Chengdu. The flight from Hangzhou to Lhasa starts at 8:05am, arrives in Chengdu at 10:55am, and then takes off again at 12:00am to Lhasa, finally arrives at Lhasa at 14:15pm.

The flight from Lhasa to Hangzhou starts at 15:05pm and arrives in Hangzhou at 21:00pm, also making a stopover in Chengdu for nearly two hours.

Lhasa suited at the top of the world

Except this airline, there are another two airlines connecting Tibet with East China. They are two Shanghai-Lhasa flights respectively operated by China East Airline and Tibet Airline. One makes a stopover at Xian, the other at Chongqing.
