“Climbing the world’s highest peak? I have never thought of it.” This might be what most people would say. But today, climbing Everest is no longer just a dream, let alone making an Everest Base Camp tour.

Lots of climbers set their feet at the top of the world.

Rising 8,848m above sea level, Mount Everest or Qomolangma in Tibetan Language, the world's highest summit, is the main peak of the Himalayas. Fighting hard to formidable natural conditions, transcending oneself and reaching the summit of Mount Everest is the common dream of mountain climbing enthusiasts worldwide.

New Zealand athlete Edmund Hillary and Nepalese Sherpa Tenzing Norgay were the first to reach the summit of Mount Everest on May 29, 1953.

On May 25, 1960, Chinese mountaineering team players Wang Fuzhou, Qu Yinhua and Kampot reached the summit from the north slope of Mount Everest for the first time in human history.

Over the past 60 years, thousands of mountaineering enthusiasts have reached the summit of Mount Everest and realized their dreams.

Even seniors can reach the peak of this highest mount in the world. In May 2013, an 80-year old Japanese man arrived at the top of the world and became the oldest man to summit Everest.

In recent years, more and more amateur climbers also make their dream of climbing Mt. Everest come true at the roof of the world under the help of some commercial mountaineering training organizations which may charge a large sum of money.
